Manifold Groups

Manifold groups contain all wells connected to a given facility. They are automatically created when connecting wells to facilities, and deleting them implies disconnecting those wells. There can be only one manifold group per facility.

• Ensured oil / gas / water rate: This option allows you to prioritize production rate at a facility by providing a minimum that must be honored while incoming production is available. If for example, the Ensured oil rate is set to 10 M bpd, wells feeding this facility will not be choked if choking means falling below that limit (see Well Chokes). This functionality can be used to model the concept of Nominationswhich is used to share cost and production capacity at a facility. One partner typically pays a certain percentage of the costs and in return gets priority to process the same percentage of total capacity at the facility.
